1990's rug sourced from the Taznakht region in Morocco. Features a dark brown field adorned with traditional Amazigh symbols in mustard and red. The focal point of the design is the central diamond motif with an intricately detailed border. Travelling outwards from the centre, borders begin to frame the rug and give it structure. The brown band at the edge is decorated with a repeating pattern of saws, which traditionally symbolise strength and protection. A true piece of art to elevate your space.
Amazigh rugs are originally handmade by Amazigh women, who have learnt the skill of weaving from their mothers and grandmothers.
